New Koozie Colors!

Since my current koozie colors are selling so well (Pink, Navy, and Red), I thought I’d make some in three different colors! These are the 5 colors I came up with, but I can only choose 3!

Kelly Green
Purple
Teal
Orange
Garnet/Maroon/Burgundy (think Alabama, or USC color)

Group Costume Ideas

Sorority girls are known to be the best dressed for any Halloween costume. We combine creativity, sluttiness, and class to come up with a costume all girls will envy. Sure, individual costumes come easy to us, but group costumes? That’s a whole ‘nother level. We can choose to go with the common group ideas; Fanta girls, Mutant Teenage Ninja Turtles, etc. But what about that one group costume that everyone in Greek life will remember and try to top? Here’s a few ideas:

• 6 or 12pk of Beer

Ok, so not all girls like beer, but is that going to stop you from decorating yourself as a beer bottle? NO. Remember, all fratdaddies like beer. So slap on some brown leggings, decorate a shirt for the beer you choose, and go out there and ask a fratdaddy if he wants a taste of you. It’ll work. Promise.

• Miss America Contestants/Winners

Have lots of ladies in your sorority from different states? Miss America is the choice for you. You can choose to dress up in color coordinated dresses, matching swimsuits, or sexy gowns. But you MUST remember your sash. Everyone wants to wear a crown? Easy fix: Each of you be the winner from a certain year and dress up from that decade. Done.

•  Disney Princesses.

Let’s face it, we’re all princesses. Why not show our inner princess by dressing up as one for Halloween? And I don’t mean the Renaissance-type dresses, I’m talking short, sassy dresses with our crowns on, but we can’t forget where we came from and have to add the Pearls. You’ve got Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, etc. Don’t deny your inner Princess, and diamonds, a right to shine on Halloween

• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Have a large group wanting to all dress up together? 8 is your lucky number. Don’t lie, I’m sure you each have those girls in your sorority who actually act like Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, and Doc. Just don’t hurt their feelings when you nominate them for each dwarf, totes tell them they’re the exact opposite.

• Spice Girls.

I know, I know, it’s not that original, everyone does it. But, there’s a reason why everyone dresses up at the Spice Girls. Who would you want to be other than the best girl group of all time?! And we all know we have the clothes for these outfits in our closets from themed parties and mixers. Not to mention, you get to sing “Wannabe” at the top of your lungs at any bar you go to and nobody gets to judge you.

Just whatever you do, please don’t be the cast of Jersey Shore. I BEG YOU. Nobody wants anymore of those GDIs running around, even if it is Halloween.

Fall for Me

I don’t know about y’all, but Fall is my favorite time of the year. What sorority girl doesn’t love baking anything that involves cinnamon, vanilla, and pumpkin? It’s the PERFECT time to show off your baking skills. And the decorating? I’m obsessed. There can’t be enough Autumn decorations in my apartment.

And then there’s the fall wardrobe.. in the words of Rachel Zoe, “I Die.” Sweaters, leggings, riding boots, the list goes on and on. The best part is, everything goes with my pearls.

How could I forget the nail polish? I don’t know about you, but I’m OCD when it comes to my nail polish. Essie and OPI have put out fabulous Fall collections, my fave (as of right now)? Essie Bobbing for Baubles. Gorgeous Deep Blue.

Also, Fall has numerous date opportunities to go on with your fratdaddy. From pumpkin and apple picking to taking a hayride or ghost tour, you can never miss an opportunity to take presh pics and spend some quality time with your beau.

And if you’re single? Invite a group of fratdaddies to go out with you and your sisters to a haunted trail, they’ll all expect a girl to hold them tight so they can take care of them when you’re “scared” (whether you are or aren’t, act like you are).

Yes, it is getting colder outside, but don’t fret, that just gives us another reason to snuggle up to that fratdaddy we’ve been eyeing or the one that we already have. But always remember, Keep It Sratty!!
